its been a week since i updated my blog....
my sincere apologies.....
have been bz d whole week....
n thr don seem to be any event or anything to be posted..
so its Kuching High's annual sports day...
25th-26th June 2009.....
students were gathering at the Jubilee Ground.............(all pics taken were 2nd day of the sports day)

but i insisted on staying thr..........
to avoid the MF sun........
but as if God has sensed lun's prayers, the clouds began covering the ground.........
so here i go!

as soon as we got down...

they started off 'toughly' too!! xD
struggling hard to reach the finishing line - their goal, their pride.....

we went to the starting point to hit some pics.....

our scouts were also assisting in almost every section of the sports...

after every run (especially the female's run)....
our members had to go to those kicked-down pagar....
arrange it back nicely, waiting for the next runner to kick it down...
every section theres sure to be a supervisor....
a 'formen'.....
whose job is only to giv orders n directions and to make sure everyting is going right...
bt this boy here doesnt seem to be even doing thing...
he looks more like a... err... donkey? xD
even uncle chan went down to help! xD 
reaching the end of the sports day, tony n i went back to the jubilee ground (after aftn tea xD)... 
bt our job aint easy...
we follow orders from teachers, set it at the stated height...
but what we get back from those runners when they jump over.........
"knnbaccb!! so high!! wan me how jump over?!!! u crazy ahh!!??!?! better kick it n let u ppl work!!"
well... theres nth we can do about it...
as the saying goes, 'sometimes, fate reli call upon us.......'

everything ended quite nicely....
i was not thr to witness the teachers' relay xD
every members were tired...
for sure~ =.=
unlike other duties held outside, we were not somehow given any allowance for food and other expenses during the duty..
but this service is for our school....
the place where we grew up for 5 yrs (some 6 yrs)...
what we did during these years affect greatly to our future....
the school has given us a lot (although not mainly on financial side =.=)
so we should try givin back a little......
until we had left the school, led a successful life, memories of our secondary school life still exists...
looking back at pictures, recalling back events, is just like a time machine, bringing us back to childhood....
looking at our own past...........
what we've been thru.......
and only by that time, we will know how to appreciate what we had......
may the scouting spirit in all of us burn brightly.........
